Dr. Amarjot Chahal has had a vision to offer full scope optometry services with a focus on bringing innovative, sustainable and unique eyewear to Tottenham. She started planning her vision in January of 2019 and est BV Eyecare in 2020 in the heart of Tottenham, ON.

Dr. Chahal completed her Bachelor of Biological Science degree with a Minor in Sociology from the University of Calgary. She earned her Master of Optometry degree and graduated with distinction from Aston University in the United Kingdom. She continued her optometric studies at the University of Waterloo in 2016 and has since completed further education in Developmental and Behavioral Optometry. She is board certified by the Canadian Examiners in Optometry and accredited in prescribing pharmaceuticals.
 

Dr. Chahal has over 5 years of experience performing Vision Therapy on children of all ages, as well as adults with acquired brain injuries. She has completed her certification in Practical Vision Therapy Program with Vision Therapy Canada and is currently in the process of acquiring her Fellowship with Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association..  She is a also a clinical associate of the Optometric Expansion Program. Over the years, Dr. Chahal has acquired an array of experience in various fields of optometry. She has a special interest in managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and dry eye disease.

In her spare time, she likes to relax outdoors at her family farm in Caledon and spend time with her husband and their two boys.
